What we leave behind isn’t always what we see — it’s what we carry.
This piece is a meditation on censorship, presence, and legacy. The obscured gaze reflects silenced histories, while the sculpted mouth holds what remains: voice, story, resistance. It’s both deeply personal and widely symbolic — a quiet confrontation.

Drawn in expressive charcoal, the marks are both intentional and instinctive — layers of erasure and reassertion. Framed to archival standard and signed as part of a 4-piece limited series, this work stands alone but is even more powerful within its family. (Coming soon.)
